WOLLONGONG STP

RWI supplied and installed all the structural steel, duct work saddles, aluminium grating and aluminium hand rails for the Wollongong Water Treatment Plant project.

The scope included an addition to an existing building, duct supports to various building walls and roof tops and the supply and erection of two separate structures and associated stair ways and platforms to house the odour treatment plant.

The site was classified as an extreme climate and required all the steel work to be hot dip galvanised, shot blasted and given 3 coats of epoxy two pack paint.

RWI's experience with structural steel, plant installation and pipe work meant that the project ran smoothly until completion.
